CulinArt was first produced in 2006 by ISES Austin as an effort to give back to the Austin community. The concept was to raise funds for a local nonprofit by doing what the event industry does best, creating THE EVENT of the year with a gala that focused on the culinary arts.
In 2008, ISES Austin selected the The Wright House Wellness Center to establish a reoccurring partnership for the CulinART event.
Led by executive director, Leah Graham, The Wright House Wellness Center is an exceptionally worthy charity offering care and compassion to Central Texans living with or at risk of HIV and other chronic illnesses and provides resources for support, education, and empowerment. For the past four years, The Wright House Wellness Center has been a cooperative partner with ISES Austin, graciously contributing its precious resources to ensure the success of CulinART.
CulinART continues to grow each year in scope and scale, and is now Austin's showcase event for the latest trends in event décor and production. Designers from across the city compete in a spectacular centerpiece competition, and event industry leaders plan a one-of-a kind program featuring a gourmet dinner, fantastic entertainment and unique art, silent and live auctions.
